시놉시스Synopsis
프랑수아와 그의 아내 샤를로트는 지중해가 내려다 보이는 고급 호텔 겸 레스토랑을 운영하고 있다. 프랑수아가 아직 받아 보지 못한 <미쉐린 가이드>의 별점을 받는 데에만 온 신경을 집중하는 동안, 40세의 끝자락에 선 샤를로트는 첫 아이를 가지려고 필사적이다. 이들의 위태로운 결혼 생활은 어느 날 갑자기 샤를로트의 전 남편인 알렉스가 나타나면서 더욱 복잡하게 꼬인다.
François and his wife Charlotte run an upscale hotel-restaurant overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Their marriage is on the rocks - François is obsessively determined to garner his first Michelin star, while Charlotte, on the cusp of 40, is desperate to have their first child. The situation becomes even more complicated the day Charlotte’s first husband, Alex, a cunning Casanova, reappears out of the blue.

프랑스 출신의 감독이자 각본가. 소르본대학교에서 영화를 전공했고 1998년 사회적 내용을 담은 작품 <One minute of Silence>으로 장편 데뷔했다. 2002년 액션영화 <네스트>를 연출했다. 독창적인 스타일을 선보인 데뷔작이 주목을 끌면서 할리우드 스타 브루스 윌리스의 눈에 띄었고 그의 추천으로 스릴러영화 <호스티지>를 연출, 할리우드에 진출했다.
Florent-EMILIO SIRI is a French film director and screenwriter born in Lorraine. He studied cinema at the Sorbonne University and ESRA in Paris. He began his feature film career with the 1998 social film One minute of Silence and continued in 2002 with the action film The Nest. Following the underground success of his first feature film, SIRI's directorial style caught the eye of actor Bruce WILLIS, who asked SIRI to direct his big-budget 2005 action thriller Hostage.
