시놉시스Synopsis
진영은 엄마가 보낸 김치를 택배로 받는다. 엄마와 사는 언니 진숙은 진영에게 김치를 가지고 생색을 낸다. 진영은 이런 관계가 편하지 않다. 엄마의 교통사고 소식에 지방의 엄마 집으로 병문안을 간 진영을 오랜만에 만난 진숙은 은근히 긁어대고, 결국 진영은 폭발하고 만다.
Jin-young receives a box of Kimchi from her mother. She feels uncomfortable with it. One day, she hears the news that her mother gets in a car accident and goes back to her hometown.
감독Director
현재 미술작가와 영화감독으로 활동하고 있다. 영상 작업과 퍼포먼스를 주로 하고 있다. 몸을 쓰고, 시간의 흐름을 갖는 작품을 좋아한다. 2007년부터 실험 영화를 만들어 오다가 최근에 극영화 <김치> 등을 연출했다. 현재 다큐멘터리, 극영화, 실험 영화 등 장르에 구분 없이, 하고 싶은 이야기에 맞는 형식으로 영화를 만들고 있다.
SHIM Hye-jung is currently working as a visual artist and filmmaker. Mainly focusing on video works and performance, Shim likes to use her body to express and prefer the works showing the flow of time. Since 2007, Shim made experimental works but recently showed some fictional films. Now, she is working on projects in regardless of genres and takes any format which fits the best to a story she wants to tell.
