시놉시스Synopsis

<내추럴 와인 이야기>는 역사상 최악의 산불 시즌을 보낸 북부 캘리포니아 지역의 내추럴 와인 생산자들의 여정을 담은 다큐멘터리다. 농부이자 와인 생산자, 예술가이기도 한 이들은 혁신적이면서도 지속 가능하고, 화학 첨가물을 쓰지 않는 재생 가능한 농업 방식을 고수하며 정통 와인을 만드는 자신들의 이상에 충실한 삶을 살고 있다. 기업형 와인 산업이 고수해온 관행을 피하면서, 이들 와인 생산자들은 기온 상승, 성장 기간 단축, 빈번하게 발생하는 치명적인 산불 등 변화하는 기후 속에서 생존하고 있는 바로 그 환경을 치유하고 있다.

Living Wine follows the journeys of natural winemakers in Northern California, during the largest wildfire season on record. Equal parts farmer, winemaker, and artist, they stay true to their ideals of creating authentic wines made through innovative sustainable and regenerative farming and without chemical additives. Eschewing the industrial agricultural practices of the corporate wine industry–our winemakers are healing the very environment they are surviving, i.e., a changing climate marked by rising temperatures, shorter growing seasons, and more frequent and virulent wildfires.
